There are more reasons than you may think to get either a spring or fall cleanup. It is a great idea to keep your lawn looking fresh at the beginning of the spring or throughout the fall to still have that aesthetic look. As a rule, most Perennials need to be cut down in the fall in order for that plant to go dormant but spring cutting can be done for some such as Sunflowers, Coneflowers, and Daisy's. This is crucial for the plant to bloom successfully, tolerate disease. This can also mean benefiting from pollination especially when cutting down in the spring.
